Foot Chase Ends in Arrest at Brewster Train Station

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Mount Kisco man is facing several charges after he reportedly tossed several trash cans into the street and subsequently ran from police, officials say.

Authorities have charged Reinaldo Gonzales, 30, with disorderly conduct, a violation, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, following the Friday incident, according to a recent report from the .

"At 12:21 a.m., deputies ... responded to a 911 report of a man throwing trash cans into the roadway along North Main Street in the Village of Brewster," officials said in the statement. "The man ... led Sgt. Lee Stabe and Deputy Sheriffs Keith Blessing and Thomas Lee on a foot chase down North Main Street to the Metro North Brewster Railroad Station, where he was apprehended and continued to physically resist the deputies."

Police say that Gonzales, a resident of Main Street in Mount Kisco, also violated a local littering ordinance. They held him at the Putnam County Correctional Facility, where he awaited arraignment.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
