The driver of a 2012 Jeep Liberty was transported to the hospital for minor injuries after the SUV overturned near the Southeast Town Offices on northbound Route 22 Friday afternoon.
Brewster Fire Department and the New York State Police responded to the single-vehicle accident, which occurred at about 1:45 p.m. Firefighters were unable to say what caused the crash.
No one else but the driver, a man in his 60s, was in the Jeep at the time, according to officials. He was transported by ambulance to the Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel.
Northbound traffic, which was backed up to Exit 10 on Interstate 684, was delayed for about 45 minutes.
