Police: Patterson Man Found Sleeping in Victim's Home Faces Criminal Trespass Charge

A 20-year-old Patterson man is accused of unlawfully entering a local home and falling asleep inside, police said. 

State troopers from the Southeast barracks arrested the man shortly after the call came in, at about 5 a.m. Nov. 8. They charged him with second-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

The defendant was released and is due Nov. 18 in Patterson Justice Court.
