Local officials are reporting several recent arrests on drunken or impaired driving charges. Here are the names of the individuals:
- Walden resident John F. Imhoff, 62. Troopers from the East Fishkill barracks of the State Police stopped Imhoff, who was operating a 1993 Volvo, for a missing license plate lamp at about 6:10 a.m. Sunday, on eastbound Interstate 84 in Southeast. Officials charged the defendant with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Authorities were unable to provide specifics on a substance, as they were awaiting blood test results. Imhoff was released pending an Oct. 25 appearance in Southeast Justice Court.
- Brewster resident Alexandra A. Georgescu, 25. State Police from the East Fishkill barracks stopped Georgescu at about 3:50 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Danbury and Starr Ridge Roads in Southeast. Authorities say she was operating a 2006 Volkswagen Beetle, which was missing a headlight. She's facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated. The defendant is alleged to have had a blood-alcohol level of 0.09 percent. The legal limit is 0.08. Georgescu was released, pending an appearance in Southeast Justice Court Oct. 25.
- Mahopac resident Nancy Danielson, 47. Carmel Police Officer Laura Smith stopped Danielson on Croton Falls Road in Mahopac at about 10 p.m. Saturday. She's facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, plus several violations. Officials released her pending an appearance in Carmel Justice Court this week. Authorities did not provide additional details.
