A 22-year-old New Milford, CT man is accused of getting behind the wheel while intoxicated and driving through the town of Southeast.
Deputy Frederick Mark of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office stopped the driver for a traffic violation at about 2:20 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 19).
The defendant failed field sobriety tests. He was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and released pending a future appearance in Southeast Justice Court.
The Sheriff's Office typically does not release blood-alcohol levels as they may be considered evidentiary.
