A 40-year-old Brewster man is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated following an accident on Carmel Avenue.
State troopers from the Southeast barracks made the arrest at about 6:25 p.m. Sunday.
The defendant's blood-alcohol level was 0.15-percent, officials said. The legal limit is 0.08. He is due Monday in Village of Brewster Justice Court.
Police reported no injuries.
