A 44-year-old Brewster man is facing a felony charge of first-degree attempted rape, officials said Wednesday.

State Police at the Somers barracks arrested Francisco Borja Guerra, of Marvin Avenue, Tuesday in connection with the incident, which occurred Saturday.

Following arraignment before Justice Ralph Mackin in the Town of North Salem Court, the defendant was sent to the Westchester County Jail without bail. He's due back in court Monday.
