Troopers: Man Caught Shoplifting at Home Depot in Southeast

A 56-year-old Dutchess County man is accused to stealing from the Home Depot on Independent Way in Southeast.

State troopers from the Southeast barracks arrested the Verbank resident at about 9:35 a.m. Sept. 12., after the store reported to police they had a shoplifter in custody. 

The defendant is facing a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny. He was released pending a Sept. 26 appearance in Southeast Justice Court.
