The media is speculating about State Sen. Greg Ball's plans in advance of an announcement he's scheduled to make May 16.
Ball's office sent out this press release May 4:
"Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) will make an announcement regarding his political future on Friday, May 16th in Mount Pleasant, NY. Time and specific location: TBD."
YourYorktown.com says he's planning to move to Texas.
Politics on the Hudson says he's not going to run for Putnam County Executive.
Ball's District 40 includes portions of Putnam, Dutchess and Westchester counties.
