Newtown Event at Brewster High Raises $1,685
Participants had a two-hour window to take 26-minutes worth of laps on the track.
Nearly 200 people attended "26 Minutes for Newtown" Saturday at Brewster High School.
Donations from the event—which was organized by two students enrolled in the leadership class at BHS—came in at $1,685.66. The money will go to the Newtown Memorial Fund.
