M&M Garden Center and Supply on Route 22 in Patterson is now open, with an abundance of holiday items for sale.
Mark Pane of New Milford, CT opened shop Friday. The space, which once housed Poppy's Place nursery, has undergone renovations, including new sheetrock, new insulation, new woodwork and new gravel in the driveway.
Business hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily for the holiday season. After Christmas, M&M will close until spring, with the exception of a reopening for Valentine's Day.
"It's something we always wanted to do," said Pane, who is in the landscaping and stone business.
Christmas trees come from New Hampshire. They range from four feet to nine, and prices go from $25 to $85. Wreaths are custom-made at the stop.
In the spring, shoppers can expect to see annuals, perennials, mulch, stone, top soil and more. M&M will also be a dealer of Unilock paver products.
