Flu Vaccine for Brewster Students; Gas Station at Route 22 and 312; Town Budget

Monday (Nov. 18): All winter sports at Brewster High School are now in session. The Town of Southeast Zoning Board of Appeals is meeting at 8 p.m. On the agenda: The gas station coming to the intersection of Routes 22 and 312 and a sign application that requires a variance. Board members will also discuss several residential projects. The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for possible thunderstorms—which may come with damaging winds—in the morning, followed by sun in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach the low 60s.

Tuesday (Nov. 19): Southeast Justice Court begins at 6 p.m. at the civic center at 1360 Route 22. There's a Brewster Board of Education meeting at 6:30 p.m. Expect sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 40s.

Wednesday (Nov. 20): The Village of Brewster Board of Trustees will meet at 50 Main Street at 7:30 p.m. Council members on the Southeast Town Board are expected to adopt the 2014 budget during a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. It calls for 1.66-percent tax levy increase. Click here for a breakdown. There's also an Architectural Review Board meeting. The forecast looks sunny with a high in the mid 40s.

Thursday (Nov. 21): There's a free flu vaccination clinic for students at C.V. Starr Intermediate and Henry H. Wells Middle schools. The Southeast Town Board will meet at 7 p.m. The NWS is calling for partly sunny skies and a high in the mid 40s.

Friday (Nov. 22): There's a free flu vaccination clinic for students at Brewster High School (BHS) and John F. Kennedy Elementary School. It's a PLC Friday at BHS. Expect partly sunny skies and a high in the upper 40s.
