Don't Miss: Brewster Art Exhibit Featuring Animals; Holiday Crafts Fair

There are tons of ways to keep busy around Brewster and Southeast this weekend, and we're here to help you decide which happenings are for you. Here are the details for a few great events (click on the links for more information). 

Animal Magnetism 2013
When: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday
Where: Studio Around the Corner at 67 Main Street in Brewster
Why go? Friday is the opening night for this exhibit. It features drawings, paintings and photographs that spotlight our furry friends. Organizers are collecting canned cat and dog food at the event, in appreciation of the work done by Forgotten Felines and The Putnam Humane Society. 

Christmas Crafts Fair
When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday
Where: Trinity Lutheran Church at 2103 Route 6 in Brewster
Why go? There will be plenty of items to choose from if you're looking to get a head start on your holiday shopping—think crafts, games, jewelry and more. Plus, Santa will be available for photos with the youngsters from noon to 2 p.m.

Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic
When: 2 p.m. Saturday
Where: Brook Farm Veterinary Center at the intersection of Routes 22 and 164 in Patterson
Why go? Putnam County residents can have their cats, dogs or ferrets vaccinated against Rabies. The county's department of health is sponsoring this event. Click the link above for specifics.
